Pupils from a Blackburn school have been sent home this morning following a fire alarm fault.
Parents headed back to Witton Park Academy this morning to pick their children up, just an hour and half after the school day began.
Children said they had to leave the building due to a fault with a fire alarm.
Pupils could then be seen being picked up by parents from the school on Buncer Lane.
The school said there had been a 'significant fault' with the fire alarm.
