The body of a man found in the sea off the Lytham coast is that of the missing Richard Parker, police have confirmed.
Richard, 62, from Wrea Green, was reported missing more than two months ago, having last been seen in the Brooklands area of the village on March 4.
Police said a body was found off the Lytham on Sunday, May 5 following a report, and confirmed it was Richard after formal identification.
They added his loved ones have been informed.
Richard's death is not being treated as suspicious and a file will be passed to the coroner in due course.
