A fire crew was called to assist police after a death of a man in Burnley.
Emergency teams attended Bivel Street, Burnley, at 3.25pm on Thursday (11 April) to a report of a sudden death.
Police said they found a man in his 50s who had died in the house. The fire service was called to remove the body through an upstairs window.
A Lancashire Fire and Rescue spokesperson said: “A Lancashire Fire and Rescue crew and one aerial ladder platform assisted the police and Northwest Ambulance Service in removing a body from a home in Burnley.”
Police said the man’s death is not being treated as suspicious and a file will be passed onto HM Coroner in due course.
