Blackburn presenter AJ Odudu has secured another presenting role weeks before her Big Brother hosting debut.

AJ Odudu is the new host of Team GB six-part series where she will speak to female Olympians who have been re-writing history and inspiring generations.

Team GB's brand new six-part series 'Sporty AF' (And Female) celebrates just this – the inspiring stories and sporting careers of some of the nation’s female Olympians.

The former St Bede’s High School pupil will chat to female sporting stars who have achieved success in the red white and blue of Team GB.

These include Abi Burton (rugby sevens), Imani-Lara Lansiquot (athletics), Katy Nicholls (cycling), Amber Rutter (shooting), Jazmin Sawyers (athletics), Kate Shortman (artistic swimming), Andrea Spendolini-Sirieix (diving), Nekoda Smythe-Davis (judo), Izzy Thorpe (artistic swimming), Anna Toman (hockey), and Kimberley Woods (canoe slalom)

They will discuss a number of topics that impact their careers and day-to-day lives as women, including body image, mental and physical health, the menstrual cycle and gender equality.

In the first episode ‘Changing the Game’, four female Olympians at the top of their game talk about their achievements on the global stage and how they can continue to pave the way for a diverse and inclusive space in sport.

AJ’s work with Team GB comes weeks ahead of her Big Brother hosting role in October.

The reality series will return to our screents following its revival by ITV five years after it was axed by Channel 5.

The new logo features the famous Big Brother eye, this time brightly coloured and covered in different emojis, including a broken heart, a hashtag, an exclamation mark, a question mark and a pair of lips.

The programme sees housemates live together in a custom-built home for weeks without access to the outside world in a bid to win a cash prize. It started in 2000 on Channel 4, and Channel 5 took over in 2011.

However, it was axed by the broadcaster in 2018 amid a ratings slump.

Footage from the all-new house will be live-streamed into the small hours every night on ITVX after the Big Brother companion show, ITV said.
